May. Thursday. 6th Assignment
Good morning!
Gradually and CAREFULLY work on simplifying the
8
examples below.
Not easy, but uses the EXACT same type of thinking
we have been using since the Unit Circle was introduced.
If you click on the examples....all the 'work' will show, but
I am ALWAYS happy to make a short vid if my 'voice'
makes more sense than handwriting.
===================
May. Tuesday. 5th Assignment
watch the 2 vids below twice... and it will help!
Intro to trig graphs
Intro to 5 parts of a trig graph
When you think it makes sense...watch the vid below
vid on graphing a sine wave
(it is not written neatly..sorry!)
the function is 2sin(2x-pi)-1
remember "x" or "theta" is the same idea
Then
write the problem on a piece of paper, and pause the video.
Your goal is to "do it" without hitting
"play"
:)
========================
this one stays.
May. Tuesday. 5th Assignment
Ok! Click the Unit Circle above. Select 'Sin' and 'exact values' on the top right , then select 'Start' on
the bottom left. Stare at it for a moment and try to figure out what is happening!

All through Pre Calc, and Calculus.
Never goes away.
Only gets easier, when you "get it" better.
WATCH the VIDEOS & repeat.

Wednesday/Thurday April 1-2 Assignment
Ok math kids...these few lessons are not easy ones. All I can offer is email away with specific questions! I will keep trying to help!
Eventually though..between videos and answer keys and sincere efforts and time...all will be fine.
They will return over and over again.
WATCH the 3 videos until they make sense.
DO 5 examples on each of the 3 worksheets until they are correct.
Example of all parts HERE
Worksheets below to practice, and a few videos if needed!
YOU CAN GET THIS!!!!!
1vid SOULE on HA, OA....with a nice chart
2vid SOULE graphing a rational function
Mr.Green caught a mistake I made here, at 1:12, I said 8, and SHOULD have said 7. Dragon Ninja skills of observation Mr. Brady Green. Well done.
3vid SOULE another example...
A another worksheet with key...
B worksheet with key, graphing
C another worksheet

Monday 30th Assignment
See calendar...but just use today to get caught up/redo/ or Prep for Summ#2
======================================
Thursday 26th Assignment
Good Morning! First off...hang in there. If you did not complete Wednesday's lesson yet...
do it today. Do not stop, do not skip.
It is OK if it takes longer than a "day" to get a concept...but you HAVE to get it eventually. Math just builds upon the lesson before...and eventually it's a significant struggle to catch up.
Please take my word on this?
Try links below, and email as needed!
Long division (big kid version)
Writing a polynomial from given roots
poly of least degree video
practice factoring and solving for unknowns
(this takes practice!!!)
Another example below!
------------------------------------------------------------
Wednesday 25th Assignment
Ok! Hopefully Monday's lessons made sense...as today is based on that? One of the reason to be able to factor a polynomial, is to find the "x intercepts or roots". Then...you can graph them easily. Below are several functions that need to be graphed. Use rational root process, factor, then set those factors to zero. Solve! THOSE are x intercepts.
graphing by hand video if needed
(hint: it is needed)
After you watch this video
(as many times as needed)
Try the problems below!

Assignment Monday 23rd
Ok! Refer to the google classroom post on Friday if you
had not done so already. By the end of the day today PLEASE watch/try those (7) links provided. It may be easier to
s-p-r-e-a-d math out a little at a time if the content is not your favorite. These skills for today are BIG important for later concepts however...so contact me with specific questions as needed!

Assignment Monday 16th- Friday 20th
In addition, I ask that you begin to practice a series of College Placement Tests. Feel free to google and work with your friends, but know I will be testing YOUR ability to reproduce (2) quizzes on similar content (not multiple choice)
Please feel free to prepare (1) sheet of paper both sides over the remote learning time to assist you when we reconvene with our regular schedule.
In a typical class, I would expect you could complete (20-25) examples in 1 hour of time. Please plan on the same.
This plan will be for the first (5) remote learning days, and will be updated if changes occur.
